The majority of books at Gyaanstore are brand-new, original editions sourced from publishers and authorised distributors. Every copy is checked before dispatch and packed with care, so it reaches you in the same condition it left our shelf.

Preloved books, graded honestly
Preloved books are single copies with their own history — so each one is inspected by hand and given one of four grades. You'll see the PRELOVED chip on the product card, and the exact grade on the product page (the i button next to “Condition Grade” brings you back to this guide).

Looks and feels brand new with minimal handling.

Excellent quality with only minor signs of previous use.

- Pages may be yellowed but clean
- Some spine creasing is normal

How do you assess preloved condition?
Each preloved book is personally inspected by our team using the same criteria every time — pages, binding, cover, and any extras like flaps or jackets — then given one of the four grades above.
What if the condition is not as described?
You have 3 days from delivery to contact our customer care team about any quality concern. Since each preloved book is unique, we'll work with you individually to find the best solution — a replacement where possible, a full refund, or store credit.

Preloved books are one-of-a-kind items. A short window means we can address any issue quickly, while the copy's condition details are fresh, and give you the most effective resolution.
Can I see the actual copy before buying?
