Eric Berne was a prominent psychiatrist and bestselling author known for his groundbreaking work in Transactional Analysis. He developed and applied this new methodology, which led to the publication of his renowned book "Games People Play." This book became a runaway success and established Berne as a leading figure in the field of psychotherapy.

Throughout his career, Berne authored over 30 other books and articles, contributing to the advancement of Transactional Analysis and its applications. He also played a pivotal role in founding the International Transactional Analysis Association, which continues to promote and advance his work.
