Yáng Shuāng-zǐ (legal name Yang Jo-tzu) is a Taiwanese writer of fiction, essays, manga and video game scripts, and literary criticism. Born in 1984 in Wuri, Taichung, she began publishing romance novels as a teenager and later turned to literary fiction, becoming known for historical fiction. She writes under a pen name meaning "twins", kept in memory of her twin sister, Yang Jo-hui, who died in 2015. Her novel Taiwan Travelogue, translated by Lin King, won the 2026 International Booker Prize, the first Mandarin-language work to do so.
