Tools and Techniques for Determining the Value of Any Asset.

Investment Valuation by Aswath Damodaran, Professor of Finance at NYU Stern and one of the best-known teachers of valuation, is the standard textbook on how to value a business, a stock or any other asset.

This University Edition of the third edition walks through the three ways of valuing anything: discounted cash flow, relative valuation using multiples, and option-pricing approaches. It shows how to estimate cash flows, growth and discount rates, and how to apply them to companies of every kind, from young and high-growth firms to mature and troubled ones.

Key Highlights Inside:

  • Every Valuation Approach: DCF, relative valuation and real options, explained step by step.

  • Built for Students and Investors: Used in MBA, CFA and finance courses, and by analysts at work.

  • From the Dean of Valuation: Written by the author of The Little Book of Valuation and Narrative and Numbers.
