Chris Voss is a globally recognized negotiation expert, author, and engaging speaker. He is a former FBI hostage negotiator and the founder of The Black Swan Group, a firm offering negotiation services and training. Voss is also the author of the best-selling book "Never Split the Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It," where he shares negotiation strategies developed from high-stakes scenarios. Voss has a unique speaking style, combining his real-life experiences with practical negotiation techniques. His speeches are filled with gripping stories from his time with the FBI, providing a captivating context for his negotiation insights. He is also an adjunct professor at Harvard Law School, Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, and a lecturer at the USC Marshall School of Business. Voss was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
