Jacqueline Mitton

Dr Jacqueline Mittion is a highly respected writer of books on astronomy. She is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and speaks regularly at schools on the subject of astronomy. She has also contributed frequently to radio and television programmes. Her publications include The Young Oxford Book of Astronomy and Galileo: Scientist and Stargazer (Oxford University Press). Dr Simon Mitton is the Director of Science Publishing at Cambridge University Press and has a PhD Physics in Radio Astronomy.; He has authored numerous books on astronomy, including Exploring the Galaxies (Faber). Since 1993 Dr Mitton has been physics consultant for Science Watch, published by the Institute for Science Information in Philadelphia.
