K.L. Walther, a Pennsylvania native, is a product of a childhood surrounded by family, loyal canine companions, and a love for books. Growing up, she divided her time between playing ice hockey, indulging in romantic comedies, and singing along to the tunes of Taylor Swift. Her passion for storytelling led her to earn a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, where she completed the initial version of her third young adult novel, "What Happens After Midnight."
