Shattered Obsession

This undying obsession with my best friend’s little sister has ruined everything I’ve worked hard to protect. All the secrets I had kept hidden away in the back of my closet are now exposed, scattered on the floor, along with Zoe’s broken heart. I want to fix it, to go back in time and re-do everything, but she won’t let me. She hates me and I don’t blame her for it.

But I’ve never been one to give up, especially not on her. There is no amount of time, hate or deception that could keep me away from Zoe Jackson. I am relentless and I will stop at nothing to get her back. To prove to her I’m not going anywhere — not now, not ever. We still have the agreement she made to help me save my hockey career and if I have to drag it out to buy more time, I’ll do it. Nothing is going to get in my way. Not even a life-threatening injury could keep me away from her. I am determined to win her back, no matter how much time or effort it requires.
